Tyson - 3D reconstruction tool

Welcome to the Tyson web pages. Tyson is a program targeted at the cryo-EM community as a tool for the three-dimensional reconstruction of biological macromolecules and complexes.

  • 10 Feb 2004
    Tyson version 1.1 is now available for download.
    The new version contains some major bug fixes and also solves problems that occured when compiling the source on non- or older Mandrake systems. Furthermore several new features are added. These include:
    • Sort and select now also implemented for existing particle sets
    • Support for micrographs with 'black' density
    • Settings (such as window-sizes) now automatically saved in ~/.Tyson/
    This, however, is just a small sample of the added features and fixes. For a more detailed listing the reader is referred to the ChangeLog.

    For older news check our News-page.
    Tyson 1.1 is the latest public release. This version contains some major bugfixes from version 1.0 as well as several new features.
